Confidence & Growth

What is one mistake that might be worth another try?

Best moment

After a manageable disappointment has passed.

Parent cue

Let changing course count too.

After the talk

A short answer—or no answer—can still be useful information.

A small place to begin

One question. Room to listen.

BondSeed Today gives parents conversation starters for children ages 6–18, with versions for ages 6–12 and 13–18. Use one during a walk, over a snack, or whenever you both have room for a short conversation.
  1. Choose the age and the moment

Select your child's age band, then open today's talk for the question and a suggested moment to ask it. Read it yourself first; you do not need to hand your child a screen.

  2. Ask once, then listen

Use the wording as a starting point and make it sound like you. Leave a pause. A brief answer can be enough; you do not need to turn it into a lesson or ask every follow-up.

  3. Let the response guide you

Today offers next steps for an open conversation, a short answer, or a child who does not want to talk. If they pass, accept it and offer ordinary company. You can return another day.

Today and all Guides are free to use. Start with one question; there is no daily conversation quota.

Find an opening that fits

Start with an ordinary moment.

These examples are invitations. Your child can answer briefly, change the subject, or pass.

When one question is not enough

Choose the depth you need next.

Guides help with a situation happening now. The Course builds the communication skills underneath it.
